Jewellery Care
Woon Jewellery pieces are crafted with attention to detail and a consideration for longevity. Like any finely crafted and delicate item, they should be handled with care and mindfulness.
CLEANING MY JEWELLERY
All you need is warm (not boiling) water, mild dish soap, and a soft bristled toothbrush. Gently scrub the item with soap, then rinse and dry with a paper towel.
Metal-Specific Care
Sterling Silver:
- Silver can tarnish over time. Use a silver polishing cloth or a mild silver cleaner to remove tarnish.
- To prevent tarnish, store silver jewellery in an airtight bag or container when not in use.
Gold:
- Avoid exposing gold to chlorine, as it can weaken the metal.
Remove jewellery before exercising or engaging in strenuous activities to prevent damage. Not every piece is intended for daily wear. Though it'd be perfect to have jewellery that can be kept on 24/7, t is important to know when to remove your jewellery, and which pieces/materials are more or less suitable for a hardworking activity or lifestyle.
